Ali Sparkes' novel 'Frozen in Time' has won this years Blue Peter of the Year Award. Reowned children's author Ali Sparkes will be instore between 12pm and 2pm signing copies of her book.

8th -9th May- Christchurch Food Festival- Celebrity chefs Lesley Waters and Cyrus Todiwala will be in Christchurch giving free cookery demonstrations and signing copies of their books in the main marquee tent in Saxon Square. 29th-31st October- Poole Literary Festival- Many authors, including Michael Morpurgo, Michael Rosen, Deborah Moggach and Minette Walters will be giving talks at the ever popular event.

1st November- 5:00pm to 7:00pm- Britsh writer Deborah Moggach will be instore signing copies of her books. Her novels include 'The Ex-Wives', 'Tulip Fever' and most recently 'These Foolish Things'. Many of her novels have been adapted into TV Dramas, and she has also written several film scripts, including the BAFTA - nominated screenplay of Pride and Prejudice.
